Oct 29, 2025 · Folsom School DistrictFall Festival ParadeParent/Guardians of PK-4th grade students are invited to Folsom Elementary School for the Annual Fall Festival Parade on Friday, October 31st. The Fall Festival Parade starts at 2:00 pm.
Students (Grades Pre-K to 4th) will parade around on the blacktop on the side of the school. Parking will be available for parents/guardians in the front of the school and down the right side of the driveway.
Students in grades 5-8 will enjoy a “spirited” activity courtesy of our Positive Behavior Supports in Schools (PBSIS) committee in the afternoon.
Classroom Party
Teachers will coordinate with families for treats and/or seasonal crafts to be enjoyed prior to the parade.
Dismissal Procedures
All students will return to their homerooms after the parade/PBSIS activity. At the conclusion of the parade ONE parent per student will be permitted to go to their students homeroom to sign their students out. Parents will enter the building after the parade via the main entrance.
Costumes
Fall Festival Day is an exciting time for elementary students to dress up as popular characters, celebrities, or role models. Please promote the positive and fun aspects of this season and avoid the scary and/or violent costumes. Costumes which include toy guns and/or knives will not be permitted.
Students in grades K thru 4 are to WEAR their costumes to school, therefore, please make sure it is comfortable and does not hinder their ability to learn throughout the day.
Pre-K should bring their costumes to school in a labeled bag and the students will get dressed after nap time.

How it Works
Are you ready for a Coin War?!? This is a chance for your House to gain a lead among the other Houses. Students will bring in different coins to gain points for their House or sabotage another. Give your House pennies and quarters to gain points or sabotage a rival House by giving them nickels or dimes! Buckets will be placed in the AP Room where students can drop off their coins during lunch. The coins value is the amount of points you earn.
First Place: A special treat from HSA & 300 House Points Second Place: 200 House Points Third Place: 100 House Points

All funds collected will be donated to the Folsom Home & School Association. The Folsom HSA does so much for our students, staff, and community throughout the school year. All proceeds will directly benefit the many fun events and activities planned throughout the school year!
